Corfu –
Our Island

A small corner of paradise

The Alexis Zorbas Center lies in the far northwest of Corfu — one of the greenest of the Greek islands — in the small village of Arillas, about 45 km from the island’s capital.

It is a place for travelers who are looking for something beyond the usual holiday experience.

Here you will find a Mediterranean climate with abundant sunshine, quiet olive groves, beautiful bathing bays with clean beaches, crystal-clear water, warm Greek hospitality, and plenty of space for rest and relaxation.

Our small Arillas valley is blessed with a beautiful beach and a peaceful sea — a place where it becomes easy to remember what truly matters in life.

The guesthouses and seminar spaces are located along a gentle hillside overlooking the village and the bay of Arillas.

At the heart of the center lies the Zorbas Restaurant, where you will also find the reception. All guesthouses are only a short five-minute walk away. This is also where we welcome our guests on arrival.

Beach Life

Arillas is home to one of the most beautiful sandy beaches on Corfu, just a ten-minute walk from the center.

The clear, clean water invites you to swim throughout the summer.

The beach slopes gently into the sea, and sun loungers, umbrellas, and pedal boats are available for rent — making it ideal for families with children.

Island of Light …

Kerkyra – the most beautiful town in Greece

In the island’s capital Kerkyra, the spirit of a distant and glorious past can still be felt today.

Its rich multicultural heritage, historic monuments, breathtaking landscapes, crystal-clear sea, and mild climate throughout the year have made Corfu one of the most cosmopolitan destinations in the Mediterranean.

Kerkyra — also known as Corfu Town — lies along the island’s east coast, only a few kilometers from the airport.

For centuries the island was ruled by the Venetians, whose influence is still visible in the elegant architecture of the town. The labyrinth of narrow cobbled streets recalls the atmosphere of Venice and the surroundings of St. Mark’s Square.

In 2007 the old town of Kerkyra was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Both the historic quarters and the modern parts of the town offer everything visitors may wish for — from small shops and cafés to lively bars and remarkable historical landmarks.

Compared with most other Greek island capitals, Kerkyra is a vibrant and charming town with a very special atmosphere.
